A Lao weekend 3: Ban Panhom / un weekend Laotien 3: le village de Ban Panhom

On Saturday afternoon, straight after the rice experience, a couple of my students took me and Jake to  a nearby village, ban Panhom, well known here for it's weaving and craft. They kindly offered us to go on the back of their motorbikes, but now that we have experienced Lao traffic, we decided to go by bicycle... Thanks Xai, Jay and Din for that lovely afternoon and presents.

Samedi après-midi, tout de suite après l'experience du riz, quelques uns de mes élèves nous ont emmenées Jake et moi pour visiter un village, Ban Panhom, connu ici pour son tissage et artisanat. Ils nous ont gentillement proposé de nous emmener sur leur moto, mais connaissant maintenant le mode de circulation laotien, nous avons décidé de les suivre à vélo.... Merci Xai, Jay et Din pour cet agréable après-midi et nos adorables cadeaux.
